Dr. Kelley Dentino
General Practice Dentist
Dr. Kelley Dentino is an outstanding addition to our team here at Haas Dental. Growing up in Wisconsin, and being the oldest of seven children, it’s easy to see how she complements our family style practice. Dr. Dentino moved to Boston after graduating from high school and attended Boston College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2009 with a double major in biology and philosophy. She graduated magna cum laude receiving special honors in both fields. She matriculated at Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she was awarded a grant to travel to South America researching craniofacial developmental anomalies. After completing her DMD degree in 2013, Dr. Dentino went on to pursue an honors track in research at Harvard, working as a clinical intern in general dentistry while studying craniofacial development and pediatric oral surgery.
Following graduation, Dr. Dentino was awarded a fellowship in the Plastic and Oral Surgery department at Boston Children’s Hospital where she piloted over 15 studies and deepened her exposure to a range of pediatric craniofacial specialties. Given her interest in oral surgery, she went on to hone her clinical skills by serving as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident during a one year clinical internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. These experiences afforded her the opportunity to work with medically complex patients and surgically challenging cases in a multi-specialty team-based context, giving her a unique skill set in dentistry that we are excited to bring to our adult and pediatric practice.
Dr. Dentino’s extensive background in research, community service, and her broad clinical experience has allowed her to practice dentistry with people of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, which she genuinely enjoys. She is tri-lingual and fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, making her a great asset to any of our patients who may have a language barrier.
Dr. Dentino’s passion for general dentistry is rooted in her love of working with people and being a part of her community. An outgoing person with an easy conversational style, Dr. Kelley enjoys getting to know each of her patients and building strong, lasting relationships with families in her community. Her breadth of experience in a range of clinical dentistry allows her to counsel patients with a multi-disciplinary approach that involves specialty care and patient-focused, evidence-based solutions to optimize oral health.
Dr. Dentino is a member of MDS (Massachusetts Dental Society), ADA (American Dental Society), AAOMS (American Association of Maxillofacial Surgery) and AMWA (American Medical Women’s Association). She has volunteered her time to a number of programs including Project Bridge, Give Kids a Smile Day, YMCA Healthy Kids Day, BC Campus School Marathon Team, Habitat for Humanity and 100 holes to benefit the Jimmy Fund. Outside of the office she enjoys music and plays classic and jazz piano; loves to exercise and participating in sports such as tennis, running, and soccer.
